“Roy and Ryan worked together at Hivery for over 4 years prior to founding Ganmain Partners. At Hivery, they set up and scaled the financial function to accommodate a 4x increase in ARR. During this time, Hivery FTE size tripled in size across 6 countries including the US, Japan, Canada and Latin America. They accommodated this growth without adding any new staff to the finance team. They did this by adopting a set of tightly integrated SaaS tools to increase process automation during the scale up phase.
Post Hivery, they wanted to share this tried and tested playbook to help other start-ups scale smarter and set up Ganmain Partners to do just that. Our vision is to replicate enterprise-company efficiencies by aggregating the finance and accounting workload of many emerging businesses with a standard set of processes and controls and a global team.
Prior to Hivery, Roy was part of the initial cohort of founders at Stone & Chalk. Prior to that, Roy worked as an investment banker and consultant in New York, Hong Kong and Sydney. Roy has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Hivery, Ryan was the Group Controller at Koala where he helped set up their finance function. He has extensive experience working in and setting up global offshore centers for accounting services in the Philippines.
Both Roy and Ryan started out their accounting careers at PwC.”
